Mission Statement

Global One Urban Farming is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that produces organic vegetables and distributes them free to seniors, veterans and low-income families to help raise health levels. Our organization takes unused land and converts it into sustainable organic community vegetable gardens.

Description

We started in 2010 when a husband Anthony Nealy found out how his wife(thats me)loved homegrown tomatoes. We asked our landlord if we could put in a garden. When they said yes, we put a garden in clear up the back and side of the home. Our garden extended to our elderly neighbor next door and then across the street put in a garden too. We bought the home down the street which is where we currently reside. We have built a greenhouse where we currently are growing arugula, mustard greens and butter lettuce. Now our organization owns an acre of land where we produce thousands of pounds of vegetables that we distribute free to the public to help raise health levels.
