Each year the Saucon Valley Conservancy elects new board members. We are in need of five new board members, as many have retired. Once the board is elected, executive positions are voted in. This year, we will vote in at least a new Treasurer and President. Other executive positions may be available.
The board meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 7 pm to 9 pm. With the exception of the winter months, the board meetings take place at the Heller Homestead. In the winter months, the board may meet at Perkins in South Bethlehem in order to not turn up the heat in the building when it is cold outside. Once you are a member of the board, you will be decide with the other board members where the meetings will take place.

Mission Statement
The Saucon Valley Conservancy is a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization whose mission is to preserve the historic and natural environment of the Saucon Valley as an educational and recreational resource for area citizens and visitors. The major stewardship of the Conservancy is the Michael Heller Homestead and the Saucon Creek corridor.
Description
Saucon Valley Conservancy (SVC) has worked to preserve the Michael Heller Farmstead and is now in the process of preserving the historic barn located on the property.
SVC promotes cultural, historic and environmental education through hosting events such as the Living History Days by Historic Impressions of America, Civil War re-enactments, bird-watching walks, and a new rotating art gallery.
