Job Summary

The Parking Lot Shuttle drivers are to pick up patients, visitors and staff from the parking lot and drive them to the front door of the hospital.

Primary Job Responsibilities

All responsibilities and standards shall be performed according to established policies, procedures and guidelines for the Department and Emanate Health.

Volunteers must comply with HIPAA guidelines at all times. Following confidentiality policies and procedures is the most important aspect of volunteering

Role-Specific Competencies

All volunteers must meet the threshold (minimum job requirements) and generic competencies. All competencies are measured on the Performance/Competency Assessment form.

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Be familiar with the shuttle ex: how to start it, brakes, etc.
• Be comfortable helping individuals in and out of the shuttle
• Safely driving the shuttle around the parking lots
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to sympathize with families and patients.
• Be willing, pleasant, flexible, dependable, self-motivated, competent, energetic, enthusiastic and professional.
