Assist marketing and communications staff in preparing to celebrate and recognize YWCA Dayton’s 150th anniversary by processing, organizing, and cataloguing existing YW archives materials, and by researching YW archive materials and information at area historical and archive sites (i.e., Dayton Metro Library). Objective is to create a comprehensive historical timeline of YWCA Dayton for use in determining sesquicentennial events, marketing campaigns, materials (i.e., history book), etc.
Duties:
- Sorting documents, news clippings, photographs, and other archive materials
- Using the Internet and area informational resources (i.e., the library) to research historic information
- Scanning files to create digital versions and organizing materials so they can be easily referenced
- Creating a master timeline document of YWCA Dayton history, events, people, and achievements
