Make a difference in the lives of children being raised by grandparents. Become a childcare volunteer to supervise children aged 3 to 7 once a month while their grandparents and older siblings participate in a support group. Some of the children have special needs and require one to one attention--so we need lots of volunteers.
Activities include reading stories and supervising quiet play from 6:00pm - 8:00pm on the third Wednesday of the month at the New Life Community Center - 3592 Flat Shoals Road Decatur, Georgia.
Volunteers must pass a background check to participate in this role.
