If you have a passion for helping the environment or a desire to build community, we could use your help!
Our board meets quarterly to discuss ways to grow and fund our work in the community. We meet at the Des Plaines Elks Club quarterly for an informal dinner meeting and discussion. Minimum commitment is the quarterly board meetings, however if you are able to attend occasional community meetings such as Chamber After Hours, that is appreciated but not required. The Board's purpose is oversight to help with strategy.

Mission Statement

Our Mission: Creating a Cleaner Environment through Community Engagement and Inclusion. Clean Up - Give Back offers a wide variety of programs and volunteer opportunities to the community. These include, but are not limited to, Flexible Service Programs, Company Volunteer Days/Week, School Volunteer Days, and Starting a Local Chapter. While these programs run year round, Clean Up - Give Back also holds an Annual Plastic Bag Drive during Earth Month. Clean Up - Give Back creates many opportunities for individuals to volunteer. Description

Clean Up - Give Back is an environmental 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Des Plaines, Illinois that operates its chapters and programs nationally. Their chapters and programs aim to improve local communities, as well as help individuals receive service hours.

Clean Up - Give Back and its chapters facilitate trash cleanup campaigns that are helpful to the community and environment. Any member of the community can join a cleanup campaign, and make a difference in their community.
