Ronald McDonald House Charities is holding its annual Food Drive on Saturday February 4th at Smiths grocery stores throughout the Las Vegas valley. We need volunteers at the stores to hand out our wish lists to incoming shoppers and receive any donations from them when they are leaving.
Volunteers must be able to communicate well, able to lift up to 15lbs, have a friendly personality.
The shift is 8.45am-1.30pm
This opportunity is open to groups, families or individuals. Anyone under 18 must have an adult volunteering with them.
Minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 volunteers per location. Pre-registration is required to volunteer.
We have openings at Smiths locations in all areas of the valley.
Groups may sign up for more than one Smiths location.
Community service hours (for school/college only) can be certified for this activity.

Ronald McDonald House Charities, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. Its grassroots-driven programs offer help where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives through its global network of local Chapters in 52 countries and regions and its three core programs: the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. These programs provide a bridge to accessible health care and allow families more time together, which helps in the healing process. RMHC and its global network of local Chapters also have hundreds of millions of dollars in grants and program services to children's programs around the world.
