Volunteering for Dunes hospice allows a person to impact a patient during their end of life journey. The value of volunteers cannot be overstated, as this relationship provides a feeling of comfort and support for patients as well as patients' families and friends.

There are many ways to help: Respite stays to allow caregiver relief; simply sitting with a patient to provide companionship, playing a game, or reading with a patient. Other opportunities include getting groceries or walking a dog for someone. Perhaps you have a talent to share, such as cutting hair or a music performance. We also offer clerical opportunities in our Valparaiso office.

Dunes Hospice goes where patients call home, and we coverr 14 counties from our Valparaiso and Plymouth offices. Please contact us with any questions.

Any amount of time and assistance will impact the community we proudly serve.
