DO YOU HAVE SOCIAL MEDIA SKILLS AND WANT TO SUPPORT OUR LOCAL BUSINESS COMMUNITY?

Consider joining SCORE SC Lowcountry; we provide free mentoring and business education to small business owners in the LowCountry.

We need a volunteer to post content to social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Google My Business. You’ll participate on the marketing committee, develop content for social media, and help us engage our social media followers.

The ideal candidate should have experience copywriting, fact checking, and social media planning, and live in the Beaufort County, SC area.

Description

SCORE, America's premier source of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs and small businesses, is a nonprofit resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). We have over 300 SCORE offices across the country and 10,000 volunteers offering free business mentoring and low- or no-cost workshops.

SCORE SC Lowcountry is an award-winning SCORE chapter that was recently selected Chapter of the Year- Small Markets from over 240 chapters. We work with clients that want to start or grow a business in Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton, or Colleton counties.

For over 50 years, SCORE's thousands of working and retired business professionals have volunteered to support the success of small businesses nationwide. SCORE business mentoring is free and confidential.

We provide:

  • Free, confidential business mentoring in person, via email, or by video
  • Volunteer mentors who share their expertise across industries
  • Free business tools, templates, and tips online
  • Inexpensive or free business workshops (locally) and webinars (online 24/7)
