The touch of a hand, a friendly smile, a listening ear, is all it takes to make a difference. The need for volunteers is great, and the rewards are even greater.

Volunteers make a meaningful difference in many areas at Lutheran Medical Center . Choose from a variety of positions:

  • Welcome Desks
  • Volunteer Patient Visitors
  • Pet Therapy Visitors

Description

When you join the Lutheran Volunteer Program, you become a part of one of Colorado's largest and most progressive volunteer networks. Lutheran volunteers are 500 strong and range in age from 15 to 92. Every year, volunteers give over 45,000 hours of service to Lutheran Hospital.
The vast majority of the volunteers at Lutheran Medical Center are providing services within the main hospital. The service areas available vary widely. There are positions that involve patient contact for those who wish to help in such a manner. We also have positions where volunteers work directly with hospital staff members. Positions in the gift shop provide an opportunity for those who have an interest in retail sales and
merchandising.
Additionally, Lutheran Volunteer program has student programs at the high school and post secondary levels.
