ASD Adult Achievement Center is seeking an Accounting Intern to maintain financial records for our organization using key programs such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Working from our location, and reporting to the President, the Accounting Intern will work collaboratively to record financial information and prepare for submittal to our CPA. Job duties include creating spreadsheets and identifying categories for revenue and expenses. Job experience may include direct contact with young adults with ASD. Interns will be expected to learn how to interact with our clients appropriately. Our mission is to empower young adults with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) with knowledge for successful living. Key Responsibilities include: * Use spreadsheet software to create revenue and expenses chart * Identify and organize items into the appropriate category * Keep financial information confidential * Balance monthly bank statements to ensure all items are accounted for in the appropriate category * Attend work sessions 2 times a week, in 3-4 hour sessions
