Seeking volunteers in Davidson and Williamson County that are willing to meet with hospice patient's in the home to provide companionship and care giver support.
This volunteer position requires at least 4 hours per week. Volunteers must undergo a TB screen test, background check, and drug screen at our cost prior to visiting with patients inside of their home.
Volunteers do not provide any physical care to patients.
Some of the volunteer tasks that may be asked-
*Companionship
*Prayer
*Assistance with reading and writing
*Assistance with laundry
*Providing short term respite to a patient's care giver to run an errand
*Assistance with house hold chores / cleaning
All tasks will be agreed upon before a volunteer goes out. No volunteer will be placed in a situation that they're not willing to participate in.
Volunteers MUST have reliable transportation.

Description
