Mission Statement
We encourage and support Livermore students in their pursuit of education and training.
Description
The Pedrozzi Foundation provides college and vocational scholarships and resources to Livermore students. We believe that all students deserve the chance to pursue their educational and career goals and that the lack of finances or information should not be a barrier. Every day we create an impact by helping our students achieve their dreams.
Annually we award over 100 scholarships to graduates of the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District for students pursuing post-secondary education or career-training. We work in partnership with the Livermore School District, City of Livermore, Innovation Tri-Valley, ABC NorCal and Las Positas College to promote a college- and career-bound culture for all Livermore students. We work to increase awareness of and access to financial aid so that students don't self-select out of post high schools options before learning that money is available to pay for college and vocational training. Through our Pedrozzi Young Scholars Program, we support middle school and high school students from families with little or no experience with higher education.
