Vancouver Parks and Recreation Department, Parks Foundation of Clark County and Vancouver's Downtown Association are partnering to plant summer flowers at Propstra Square in Esther Short Park and spruce up around the downtown core. There will be a variety of different projects to choose from including flower planting, pulling weeds, sweeping, general clean up and more.
Volunteers are asked to bring gloves, kneeling pads, trowels or other hand tools for the cleanup.
Lunch will be provided through a generous donation from the Hilton Vancouver Washington. This event is family friendly and volunteers of all ages are welcome to join. Volunteers should dress for the weather and wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.
Youth under 18 must bring a signed minor consent form and youth under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Make a Difference
When you volunteer you change your community for the better. Whether it’s picking up litter in a neighborhood park, serving on a board or commission, or anything in-between, volunteers are creating positive change throughout the City of Vancouver. We welcome volunteers for one-time events, as well as those who would like to donate their time on a regular basis. Whatever your interests are, we can help find a volunteer role for you!
