During the Chicago Downtown St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 14, 2020, Mercy Home paints the town green! We need volunteers to help raise awareness, collect donations, and distribute shamrocks during the parade. We will provide all the supplies, but you are encouraged to dress in green! All ages are welcome and feel free to bring friends along with you!
Please reach out to amahay@mercyhome.org to sign up to volunteer and for specific details.
*Volunteers can receive credit for court ordered community service through this opportunity.

About Mercy Home for Boys & Girls
Location:

Mission Statement
Mercy Home offers youth who seek a new beginning hope and promise of a healthy and successful future, safety, respect and opportunities for growth.
Description
Mercy Home for Boys and Girls provides hurting, abandoned, and neglected youth with the resources they have lacked: a safe place to live, clothing, education, medical care, and counseling. Mercy's youth also receive valuable life skills to prepare them to one day live independently, to find and keep gainful employment, to attend college in many cases, and to develop healthy relationships. Mercy Home also has a prevention program: The Friends First mentoring program, which matches trained adult volunteer mentors with at-risk children for one year.
