Join us for the 11th Annual Cape Fear Literacy Council Luncheon on June 16 th from 11:30am-1:00pm at the Port City Community Church! All donations allow our organization to continue to provide personalized education for adult learners. We will be joined by Jaki Shelton Green, a member of the NC Literary Hall of Fame and winner of the North Carolina Award for Literature for Outstanding Performance and Achievement in Literature. She will be our keynote speaker for the event. There is a recommended donation of $100.00 per guest.

Description
The Cape Fear Literacy Council is a community based non-profit organization. We match trained tutors and class instructors with adult learners who want to improve their skills in reading comprehension, math, and computer literacy. Our volunteers provide free, confidential and individualized training to help students meet their goals.
We have various administrative and event-based projects available year-round, perfect for individuals or groups.
