Finally -- you can shop for a good reason!

Groceries to Go ensures that homebound and disabled residents of the Iron Range can remain in their homes as long as possible through home delivery of groceries. Clients may telephone grocery orders weekly, choosing foods they like in the quantities they need. Delivery to their doors means they don't have to sacrifice good nutrition because of a disability or lack of transportation.

Volunteers shop for and deliver groceries to homebound residents in their communities. Itemized shopping lists are picked up at the grocery store, the volunteer shops, checks-out and is given a bill that the recipient is to return with payment. There's no need to handle money and shopping can be done at a time of day that is convenient for you -- but be sure to schedule at least a little time for visiting -- it will be worth it!
