Taking advantage of breaks in the rain, and aware of a great deal of debris along the creeks due to homeless encampments (now abandoned) that flooded, SBCCC staff are going out for a few mid-week cleanups. If you are available, grab your oldest clothes and shoes and come join us. Many hands make this work a lighter task. Moreover, spawning Salmon have been spotted through out the stretch of creek we will be working. Perhaps we'll see some on our workdays. Register at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/midweek-cleanups-along-guadalupe-river-in-between-the-rains-tickets-88538668541. Note: locations subject to change due to water levels, availability of City of San Jose or Valley Water trucks to pick up trash, or safety concerns due to encampments.
