MCRD Museum Foundation - San Diego, CA
This position will provide day-to-day support for the MCRD Museum Foundation. The intern will have opportunities to gain nonprofit management skills, marketing experience, and knowledge of e-commerce processes. Applicants should have strong communication skills, some sales or fundraising experience, and an interest in nonprofits. Applicants must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with the development team.
Responsibilities:
Assist with developing and implementing marketing strategies
Promote Foundation memberships, events, and products online
Create marketing materials and advertisements for web
Develop web pages for events, programs, and branding.
Track analytics for online store sales and main website.

The MCRD Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) located at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, CA. The foundation was established in 1988, the Foundation has worked throughout the years to bettering the museum which it supports and preserving the history of the United States Marine Corps.
