Do you love bowling? Would you like to share your love of the sport? Special Olympic athletes need you!

Special Olympics New Hanover County is looking for Bowling Coaches. If you have the sport knowledge and are at least 18 years of age, we can train you on how to work with Special Olympic athletes.

  • Commit to being a Coach for a full season - March through May.
  • Available for 2 hours per week during the sports season on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.
  • Attendance at the SONC Summer Games on May 29 to May 31 preferred.
  • Must have appropriate sport knowledge and experience.
  • Complete online and in-person training to give you tools to be successful.
  • Pass a criminal background screening at no cost to you.
