Do you like planning? Help us with the Sock & Undie Rundie 5K!
The Sock & Undie Rundie 5K will be held on Saturday, May 16 in celebration of National Foster Care Month. This chip-timed 5K run/walk supports one of the biggest needs at FosterAdopt Connect’s clothing closet: new socks and underwear for foster youth. As part of their registration fee, participants bring a donation of new socks or underwear. They can come to the 5K sporting their own undies any way they like (family friendly please)! Superhero costumes are welcome too.
As a member of the Rundie Committee, you'll help plan event logistics, secure in-kind donations, promote the event, and volunteer at the event if you're available.

Description
FosterAdopt Connect provides comprehensive support for abused and neglected children and the families caring for them. We believe it is in the context of family that children learn, grow, thrive and heal. To promote the permanency children need, we offer a broad range of services: foster, relative, and kinship home licensing; professional advocacy; specialized training; thorough family finding programs; in-home mental and behavioral health assistance; case management for foster care alumni; a safe place for children in our shelter; and physical support through our food pantry/clothing closet.
