WHAT WE WILL DO:
Join Project Helping to make a fringe-tied fleece blanket. Project Helping will supply all the materials and instructions. No sewing or special skills are required, so everyone can join in!
This unique collaboration will serve both Denver Hospice AND Project Linus. The Denver Hospice will give the blankets to patients with Alzheimer’s. Fidget blankets soothe and calm patients, thereby positively impacting nurses and doctors, as well as family members comforted knowing their loved ones feel more peaceful.
Project Linus provides love, a sense of security, warmth, and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer "blanketeers."
