WHAT WE WILL DO:
Join Project Helping volunteers to help approximately 50 hungry families take home one week’s worth of groceries (80+ pounds) from the Fresh-Foods Market at Metro Caring. We'll be working in the warehouse where food and other items are processed from donation deliveries. We will help inspect, clean, sort, and box the food items so they can be transferred to the market for families to take home.
Metro Caring is Denver’s leading hunger-relief program, distributing approximately 2 million pounds of nutritious food to hungry families and individuals while also providing education and tools to help them improve their health and self-sufficiency.
