Help Feeding South Dakota end hunger in our state by helping feed senior citizens across South Dakota. The senior food box program provides a variety of nutritious foods for seniors and are distributed from our Sioux Falls and Pierre food banks each month as well as through partner agencies.

This volunteer opportunity is held the first Tuesday and Wednesday of each month and involves folding and taping the cardboard boxes that hold the food items. The work involves some bending at the waist, light lifting and walking to stack the empty boxes.

This is a great individual, group or team opportunity! Kids age 11 and up can volunteer with a parent or guardian, and teens may volunteer solo at age 14.
