Recreation Therapy Volunteers

The recreation therapy department at St. Joseph Manor has a number of fun events and activities planned for its residents, and we are in need of volunteers to mingle with residents and help the events run smoothly. When possible, it is also helpful if volunteers can help transport residents to and from the activity, which is held on the 1st floor of St. Joseph Manor. However this is not required.

Opportunities include:

Bingo - held on Wednesday nights at 6 pm, and every other Saturday at 2 pm
Happy Hour, Karaoke and other fun celebrations - held every Friday at 2 pm
Casino Hour - day and time still TBD
Game Show Hour - day and time still TBD

If you are interested in regularly helping with any of the above activities, we would love to meet with you and talk further about the opportunity! Volunteers do complete an application process which includes a background check and tuberculosis skin test, both of which are free for volunteers.
