Volunteer Meeting
Hold an informational meeting for representative volunteers about set up, take down, layout, placement, stations, etc

Contact all volunteers 3-4 days before the event to remind them

Draft a thank you letter to all volunteers from Volunteer Chair & ALSA
Walk Day DutiesVolunteer Registration
Greet & Check in all volunteers on Walk Day. Distribute Volunteer t-shirts to each Walk Day Volunteer
SuperviseOversee all volunteers to make sure they are in the right location and fully informed
TrafficHave specific volunteers designated to direct traffic on walk day. Put one volunteer in charge of traffic/parking with a few volunteers in their command.

The ALS Association Evergreen Chapter offers comprehensive support for persons diagnosed with ALS, their families and caregivers cope with the day to day challenges of living with ALS by providing information, resources, and referrals to many sources.
Our Chapter's goal is to offer hope and support in all areas we serve - Washington, Idaho, Montana & Alaska.
