Recruit volunteers to help on walk day in the following areas:
· Set up/ Clean up (all)
· Registration Table
· T-Shirt Distribution
· Chapter Merchandise
· Food and Drink Table
· Water Stations
· Traffic Directors
· Goodie Bag Station
· ALS Support Group and Information Table
Record all contact information on sheet provided by Development Coordinator.
Hold an informational meeting for representative volunteers about set up, take down, layout, placement, stations, etc
Contact all volunteers 3-4 days before the event to remind them
Draft a thank you letter to all volunteers from Volunteer Chair & ALSAWalk Day Duties
Greet & Check in all volunteers on Walk Day. Distribute Volunteer t-shirts to each Walk Day VolunteerSupervise
Oversee all volunteers to make sure they are in the right location and fully informedTraffic
Have specific volunteers designated to direct traffic on walk day. Put one volunteer in charge of traffic/parking with a few volunteers in their command.

The ALS Association Evergreen Chapter offers comprehensive support for persons diagnosed with ALS, their families and caregivers cope with the day to day challenges of living with ALS by providing information, resources, and referrals to many sources.
Our Chapter's goal is to offer hope and support in all areas we serve - Washington, Idaho, Montana & Alaska.
