ALL VOLUNTEER VISITS WITH OUR RESIDENTS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED DUE TO SHELTER IN PLACE ORDER BY STATE OF OHIO. HOWEVER; WE ARE ABLE TO MEET TO BEGIN THE PAPERWORK PROCESS TO VOLUNTEER. IN DOING SO; ONCE RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED; YOU WILL BE READY TO VISIT OUR WONDERFUL RESIDENTS. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SENDING OUR RESIDENTS IN OUR COMMUNITIES LETTERS/CARDS, PLEASE CONTACT ME AND I CAN PROVIDE YOU INFORMATION TO GET YOU STARTED. OUR RESIDENTS ARE LONELY AND ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF LOVE THROUGH CARDS/LETTERS. YOU CAN STILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND THIS COULD BE A GREAT FAMILY ACTIVITY!!! Brookdale Hospice in Springfield is looking for volunteers to visit with our residents in Hospice. We have many for you to choose from.

We look for an hour a week. This time is spent visiting with the resident, hearing their story, playing a game, reading a book, playing music for them on your phone or simply holding their hand! Some of our residents do not have any visitors at all. You can bring so much joy to someone who is lonely. It's like visiting with Grandma or Grandpa.

We do require fingerprints, urine drug screen and tb testing but we pay for everything. I will make it as easy as possible for you.

Please consider bringing some joy to someone who is simply lonely. You could make a new friend!
