Brookdale Hospice in Finneytown is looking for volunteers to visit with our residents in Hospice. We have many for you to choose from. One resident is 97, loves to talk! She will entertain you! Our residents have had a very rough year and they are lonely and wanting company. You can make such a difference in their lives
We look for an hour a week. This time is spent visiting with the resident, hearing their story, playing a game, reading a book, playing music for them on your phone or simply holding their hand! Some of our residents do not have any visitors at all. You can bring so much joy to someone who is lonely. It's like visiting with Grandma or Grandpa.
We do require fingerprints, urine drug screen and tb testing but we pay for everything. I will make it as easy as possible for you. COVID 19 precautions. We can discuss this when we meet/talk about opportunity!
Please consider bringing some joy to someone who is simply lonely. You could make a new friend!
