Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Project Helping

  • 1 person is interested

WHAT WE WILL DO:

Join Project Helping volunteers to make and serve lunch for the CHARG Resource Center community! CHARG serves adults with major mental illnesses, and the Drop-In Center is free to anyone over age 18 currently in mental health treatment. It is a warm & welcoming place where one can sit quietly and read or socialize in a variety of groups. Project Helping will contribute a free lunch for community members.

An innovative community established in 1989, Capitol Hill Action & Recreation Group (CHARG) offers specific services at its various locations that include a mental health clinic, a drop-in center, and homeless outreach.
