Join us to screen over 100 people for kidney disease. We are looking for a knockout team of volunteers interested in health to assist the National Kidney Foundation with screening the Richmond community for kidney disease as a part of the 2020 Women’s Health & Fitness Expo on Feb. 29, 2020 presented by CBS 6! This is a fantastic opportunity for students interested in a career in health services, current or retired health professionals, and anyone interested in serving others and improving the well-being of their community. Medical experience is preferred but not required.

Opportunities include helping register participants, conducting family history surveys, evaluating BMI, conducting blood pressure tests, assisting with a urine analysis screening, clinical consultation, program evaluation of participants, and distribution of information and resources. There are two volunteer shifts 9:00am to 12:30pm, 12:00pm to 4:30pm or you are welcome to volunteer the entire event. Come out for a day of fun, a great cause, and the opportunity to help make Richmond a healthier place.
