The Washington Architectural Foundation is actively seeking volunteers for multiple upcoming programs in 2020.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with young people. Volunteers will provide teacher and student support during classes by assisting set up, distributing materials, helping students achieve their project goals, and clean up.
You are not required to be a professional architect or designer, but some basic knowledge of the field is recommended.

Description
We are architects, engineers, planners, landscape architects, teachers, and students working to improve access to all the benefits and opportunity that design offers. Through programs in and out of school, scholarships, design services for community non-profits, and design competition that supports the Capital Area Food Bank, WAF uses its resources wisely to offer help and make change where it is needed most.
