Description of Program: The Harbor Light Center is a safe place for people to stabilize their lives and begin the process of healing. We offer a wide range of basic needs and rehabilitation services to anyone in need, without discrimination. Our shelter is Minnesota’s largest homeless adult outreach facility and includes resources and case management to assist with self-sufficiency and independence.
Description of Position:
Individuals or groups will organize, sort and process clothing donations received in our clothing closet.
Specific Duties:
- Sort and organize clothing items and place in the appropriate areas
- Maintain organization of closet
- General cleaning of clothing closet area as needed
Qualifications Sought:
- Able to lift 10-20 lbs
- Organization skills
- Ability to work alone and be a 'self-starter’
- Positive attitude
- Willingness to adhere to policies and practices of The Salvation Army
Schedule: Flexible schedule any day 7am-6pm.

Description
The Salvation Army offers social services and recreational programs with the goal of addressing specific physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of each family, individual, child/youth, or elderly person. Services provided include, but not limited to: emergency food shelves, school supply programs, rental/utility assistance, educational programs, outreach to the homeless, family and youth camping, community center programs, Christmas assistance programs, nursing home visitations, corrections programs, and disaster services.
