Want to brighten the day, or even the month, of an adult living with disabilities? Our adaptive recreation socials are a perfect way to spend your evening making a real impact in the lives of others in your community.
Join us for this carnival-themed event including dinner, carnival games, dancing and a DJ for adults with disabilities. Volunteers will help serve the meal, clear tables, interact with guests and run carnilal games. Any ambitious and outgoing volunteers can hit the dance floor, giving our guests an experience they won’t soon forget.
For many of our participants, these socials become the highlight of their calendar. They provide a chance for these guests to get away from the day-to-day and feel cherished and valued. The themes give each event its own unique twist. One of our volunteers said that volunteering at adaptive programs "is not only a fun and heartwarming experience, but helps me live a more fulfilled life!" Join our team of Adaptive Recreation volunteers and contribute to these life-enhancing opportunities.
This event is great for teens looking to gain service hours.
