Providence ElderPlace-PACE is an innovative program of services for older adults. Providence ElderPlace helps older adults remain as healthy and independent as possible in the community for as long as possible.

Adult Day Health Program Assistant: Our Columbia City Adult Day Health program is strong and vibrant. We would love to have you join us in our important service to our elders.

When: Our Adult Day Health program runs Monday through Friday from 10 am to 2 pm. Volunteers may help participants get involved in Activity programs, such as Bingo, exercise, art, etc..They help staff serve lunch and may talk or walk with participants needing a little extra compassion.

Qualifications

  • Caring, a good listener
  • Dependable
  • Enjoy interacting with older adults
  • 14 + years of age, or accompanied by adult.
This volunteer opportunity requires a general volunteer orientation of two hours.

Description

Providence ElderPlace is an innovative program of health care and social services for older adults. Our model of care is known as PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly).Participants attend the Providence ElderPlace Center on a regular basis, and transportation is provided. The ElderPlace team of health care and social service professionals and our affiliates provide comprehensive integrated care to our participants.
