We are seeking volunteers to help the caretakers with basic kennel maintenance as well as bathe and walk dogs/puppies and cats/kittens. It can be a dirty job, so dress comfortably. Anyone interested must go through an orientation and fill out paperwork before they can assist with the animals.
MUST BE GOOD WITH KIDS AND ANIMALS.
(Minors must complete orientation with parent or guardian)

Mission Statement
The mission of Cassie's Place is to rescue and rehabilitate animals who suffer from life-threatening accidents, cruelty, neglect and abuse in order to find them the perfect family and a loving forever home. Our mandate is to: • Provide care and rehabilitation services to animals in need. • Educate the public about the importance of spay & neuter and responsible pet ownership. • Promote humane treatment for all animals regardless of breed, age, and health status.
Description
Cassie's was established in August 2015 to assist animals in need in San Angelo, Tx (and surrounding areas). We have a new voucher program to assist in the spay/neuter of owned and community cats, are active in teaching children about responsible pet ownership, and offer low-cost vaccines and microchips. We have also rolled out our Cassie's Canine Assisted Relief and Emotional Support (C.A.R.E.S.) program to assist our local military with resiliency and promote positive mental health.

- Morning time is when we need help, the most, between 8-9 am until 12 pm. Afternoons, we need people to assist with rotating dogs in and out of their kennels, dog walks/socializing/baths.
