The New Year is here! With that said, Salt Lake City Mission needs help from the community as we prepare to serve thousands during the year. This is an excellent opportunity for you and your family, friends, or co-workers to get involved in the community!
On Saturday, January 25, 2019 we will be holding a "Helping Saturday" event. We chose this Saturday because it is a day when the mission is closed to the public, so we will be able to get things done that we normally wouldn't be able to do during the week!
The main focus will be in our pantry and warehouse areas. We will be organizing, cleaning, and taking inventory. This will help us as decide what things we still need to be prepared to serve our community in a greater way.

Salt Lake City Mission is called to minister to families caught in the cycles of poverty, hopelessness, and dependencies of many kinds. We are committed to helping the people we serve change their lives and again become self-sufficient, productive members of society. Since 1993, we’ve provide necessities such as food, clothing, hygiene items, rehabilitation and outreach programs to the working poor and homeless.
