After much consideration around COVID-19 and the CDC guidelines, the NYC Take Steps Walk is moving to virtual this year. While we can never replace the sense of community of an in-person walk, TAKE STEPS + VIRTUAL will have many of the same aspects along with the added benefit of connecting us nationwide - even worldwide to show the strength of our community. TAKE STEPS + VIRTUAL is the Foundation’s largest virtual fundraising event where patients, caregivers, and corporate and healthcare partners empower and inspire one another. We have one common goal: to raise crucial funds for, and spread awareness about, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, also known as inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD).

TAKE STEPS + VIRTUAL will take place on Saturday, June 20th at 12 pm EST and feature a live-streamed opening ceremony, along with mission messages from our community, and entertainment. Once the festivities commence you can join in by posting and sharing about your personal walk celebration. Whether you walk in your backyard, in your living room or on a treadmill, you can show how you Take Steps. We will be providing additional details about the virtual experience through email and on our Facebook Page, so please make sure you "like" us.
