Make a positive difference in the life of an actively dying hospice patient. Vigil Volunteers receive special training at Colorado Palliative and Hospice Care (CPHC) to become part of the patient's holistic hospice team-- Doctor, RN, Chaplain, Social Worker and you! As a Vigil Volunteer, you provide comfort and a peaceful presence when the patient's death is imminent.
Our program emphasizes comfort, dignity and respect.
You must pass a background check, complete orientation (at your own pace) and mentoring.
Call or email CJ Pharr, CPHC volunteer coordinator at cpharr@coloradohpc.com or 720-390-1276
