ORGANIZATION: Neighbor to Neighbor of South Carolina

Please help us unite together as a community who does not forget that there are home bound seniors within our regions that need to depend on those that are willing and able to prevent that social issolation from rearing its detriments into their lives causing depression, dementia and even an early passing from not being able to get to the important resources in their communities that could prevent health challenges.

Just a few hours a month can increase the life of another by over two years. Quite litteraly, your involvement is saving lives!

Mission Statement

Neighbor to Neighbor of South Carolina, Inc. (N2N), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, promotes independence, relieves isolation, and connects homebound adults to their community through transportation and technology. 2016 Recipient of the state-wide SCANPO Excellence Award (now Together SC). Neighbor to Neighbor dedicated to helping solve adult isolation through passionate and committed volunteers.

Description

Neighbor to Neighbor inspires in us the desire to help our fellow Neighbor who is homebound due to age, disability, and/or chronic illness in Brunswick, Horry, Georgetown, and Williamsburg Counties. Neighbor to Neighbor is also committed to serving the veterans in our community.

In the spirit of unselfish love, N2N uses innovative technology and best practices in connecting adults in need with qualified and trained volunteers who provide services, such as transportation to medical appointments and other life enhancing destinations, to promote and maintain independent living.
