This is an unique and exciting >volunteer intern< position for English speaking and bi-lingual English/Spanish speaking pro-life LPNs, and RNs with registered nursing licenses in NY State.
The LPN or RN will volunteer at least 6 hours per week, at a site in White Plains. Perfect for new nurses seeking experience, or near or in retirement, or actively employed nurses with an extra partial day of time to serve. You can make a huge difference in the lives of mothers and babes and leave a legacy and show that you stand for a culture of Life.
You will work inside of the only pro-life pregnancy center, with ultrasounds and STI and pregnancy testing in Westchester County. You will assist in providing pregnancy and STI tests, and supervise ultrasounds. All nurses can give life-affirming advice to abortion determined women and couples. The Pregnancy Centers are pro-life, pro-abstinence only; the pregnancy centers' outside supervising OB/GYN is pro-life.
No abortion referrals are permitted from any EMC centers or offices, and no contraception will be offered or prescribed in the pregnancy centers.
No previous OB experience is required. We seek compassionate, pro-life LPNs and RNs dedicated to making a difference in the lives of mothers and babies, who understand there are two patients, each with an equal dignity and rights.
