Help Evaluate Local Trees in Mesa!

In the last calendar year, Trees Matter gave away over 5,000 free desert-adapted shade trees to folks all across the Valley! They have been planted, have begun producing shade, sequestering carbon, and so much more!

Now we have another goal: to find out how the trees are doing!

We need YOU to help us check out the trees in Mesa to let us know how they're doing.

How it works:

1. Sign up for the Mesa 8am- 12pm shift in February 2020, from a sign-up page that Trees Matter will send you.
2. We will send you 5-7 addresses within the city to visit during your shift time. The homeowners are expecting you!
3. Transport yourself from house to house, taking notes and pictures of the trees as you go. (We will provide virtual instruction on what to do!)
4. Scan, mail, or email your field notes back to us at the Trees Matter Office.
5. Depending on the proximity of the homes during your shift, it may take slightly less or slightly more than the alloted shift time, but you'll be able to plan your route in advance.
6. Take pride in your hard work!

Once you indicate interest through VolunteerMatch, our Volunteer Manager will email you with the next steps to sign up.
