Support new military recruits by providing Red Cross emergency services information during pre-bootcamp briefings. Volunteers will provide preparedness information to both service members and their families. Volunteers will work with service members after the presentation to ensure that all emergency contact cards are filled out fully.
Volunteers help to ensure that military families know they are supported during the critical times of entering the military and preparing for deployment. Ensure family information is in Red Cross case management system, and email/phone military families to provide Red Cross preparedness information.
Volunteers are needed weekly from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm on Mondays, Tuesday, or Wednesdays at Moffett Field Airfield in Mountain View.
Time commitment: 1 shift per week, either M/T/W from 8:30am-1:30pm.
This is an in-person volunteer opportunity and will require volunteers to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
