As Assistant to the Hairdresser you will help with transporting residents who are in wheelchairs across the campus to our on site Beauty and Hair Salon. Residents enjoy the chance to visit with volunteers while they wait for their appointment. This is a great opportunity for an active volunteer who would enjoy socializing and some light exercise on a Tuesday morning.
Help is needed between the hours of 9am and 12:30pm on Tuesday morning or 1pm and 4:30pm.
No hairdressing skills or experience needed. If you can share an hour or so on a regular basis you will be much appreciated.

Joining forces with Waveny in 2021 VNHFC enabled the Waveny volunteer program to expand to offer opportunities at the New Canaan Thrift Shop and as part of the hospice and bereavement support volunteer team.
