HOLISTIC RIDING EQUESTRIAN THERAPY (HRET) is passionately committed to empowering the lives of individuals with varied physical, emotional, cognitive, and social abilities through the spirit of the horse! HRET offers a variety of skill appropriate classes meeting the needs of riders from preschoolers on our ponies to independent riders on our program safe horses. We teach both mounted, unmounted, and farm experience classes.

We need volunteers who will act as side walkers (walking next to the rider at all times), horse leaders, helpers with the morning farm experience classes, and helpers in various other admin positions. This is a rewarding experience for everyone involved. Please consider joining our organization, as the more volunteers we have, the more participants we can teach! You do NOT need experience with horses to volunteer! We will teach you everything you need to know!

We have evening riding classes and we have morning group classes. Morning classes consist of both riding and a "farm experience" portion.

Training is required to be PATH Intl (Professional Assoc. of Therapeutic Horsemanship) compliant.
We generally having trainings monthly, which we provide free of charge! We offer additional horse leader and herd care trainings, to those who show an aptitude and interest.

PLEASE RSVP to hold your SPOT and get paperwork and information: hretvolunteer@gmail.com
