You would be making blood bags for each donor that comes in to donate. You would not be handling any blood products. You are simply getting the bags ready for a donor. For this task you will have to be trained. You would be able to come in at your convenience during our business hours of 8am to 5pm.

Our Blood Institute Volunteer Mission Statement: To recruit, empower, and mobilize volunteers by building community understanding of our purpose and services to further the mission of being the donor to patient lifeline.
Description
Today, Our Blood Institute is the sixth largest non-profit regional blood center in America. It projects a need for 220,000 units of blood a year and provides transfusion blood products and clinical services to 150 medical facilities in Oklahoma, north central Texas, and west central Arkansas with the help of nearly 900 employees working with as many as 800 volunteers and 2,600 drive coordinators. In addition to its headquarters and laboratories, OBI maintains donor centers in the Oklahoma City area with regional centers in Tulsa, Lawton, Enid, Ardmore, Ada, Wichita Falls, TX, Fort Smith, AR, and Little Rock, AR.
