ORGANIZATION: Early Settlement Mediation East Central

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

We are constantly looking for volunteers to become state-certified mediators. The first level of mediation training we offer is basic mediation. This is a two-day training that would give you the tools to be able to mediate small claims or civil matters. The training is part lecture and part role-playing. You will learn about mediation in the State of Oklahoma and tools on how to deal with people in conflict. The second portion of the training is role-playing where you get to network with other trainees and certified mediators to practice your new mediation skills.

This volunteer opportunity revolves around your schedule. Some certified mediators can mediate several cases a week, other only do one a month. Please contact us for more information about this amazing program by phone at 580-559-5674 or by email at earlysettlement@ecok.edu
