The Homebound Volunteer is responsible for picking up books from Bethlehem Area Public Library- South Side Branch at 12:00pm on Thursdays and driving them to library patrons that are unable to leave their house due to medical reasons. There is an average amount of 5-10 stops, all within the city of Bethlehem, PA, and surrounding communities. The volunteer can choose the order in which they deliver the items. Homebound Volunteers must be able to:
- Deliver and pick up materials to patrons between 12:00pm and 3:00pm once a month on Thursday
- Have a reliable car to transport materials to patrons
- Be able to lift 20 pounds
- Be able to follow directions to residences and follow delivery instructions
- Be consistently prepared to deliver the same time and day each month

Description
Bethlehem Area Public Library-South Side Branch works with volunteers regularly with help for book sales, library floor organization, event help, and Homebound delivery.
