This Victoria Crown pigeon is our flagship conservation species

We are looking for a volunteer who can help us share our story and educate guests about the importance of protecting the birds of Pandemonium Aviaries. We host tours through our Airbnb Experiences page a few times per month on different days in the week. All tours range from 1-15 guests and last about 2 hours with snacks and drinks at the end.

Responsibilities will include arriving clean-up and set-up, bird identification throughout the tour, sharing a bit about our history and what we do at Pandemonium Aviaries, going over all the safety and security policies for the tours, and clean-up afterwards. You will be given notes and training before you start hosting your own tours.

We are dedicated to saving birds that are endangered in the wild or uncommon in aviculture.

Description

Pandenonium Aviaries is a bird sanctuary for exotic birds. We practice conservation aviculture which means that we breed endangered species in order to save them, not for sale.

In addition, we offer life long care for more than 300 birds, we provide education and inform about the value of birds and the need to save them.
