Serenity Hospice is seeking volunteers to make fidget quilts. A fidget quilt or activity blanket is a lap blanket that provides sensory & tactile stimulation for the restless hands of someone with Alzheimer's and/or other forms of dementia. There are various ways to make these. If you enjoy sewing or crafting, this would be an enjoyable activity for you to create that would be very useful to our hospice Alzheimer's/dementia patients.
