Our mission is to create community enrichment through the arts. CREATE is a space where all artists can explore their creativity, collaborate with other artists and pursue new media.

Description

CREATE Center for the Arts was founded by a local artist in 2016. The center started with basic painting classes and has grown to include printmaking, textile arts like knitting, quilting and weaving, a tech lab with the virtual reality studio and 3D printer, private studio rentals, workshops with world-renowned artists and plans to continue to add new programs.

In the Coachella Valley there are many groups that have little to no access to the arts. CREATE works with other non profits and local schools to bring art to those that lack access. These groups include seniors, children, those with disabilities and those below the poverty line. CREATE Center for the Arts fills a need in the Coachella Valley for a community center that makes art accessible to everyone and allows for creativity to flourish in many different ways.
